Picking up where we left off Tuesday. Takeoff is locked at 9 line items. I’m pricing the estimate now — hardware first, then labor from the complexity models.
  3. Estimator engineEstimate9:04 AM
PLC hardware is priced against vendor quote VQ-8841 — it’s valid through Aug 1, so no escalation carried. HMI pricing came in from DQ-2291 at 30% off list.

Good. Use the prevailing wage table for field labor, this is a municipal job.
  5. Estimator engineEstimate9:06 AM
Done — field install at $112/hr journeyman prevailing wage, commissioning at $118/hr. Programming stays at our standard $128/hr since it’s shop-performed.

One thing I can’t resolve on my own: Addendum 2 changes CP-301’s enclosure but the panel schedule wasn’t updated to match. This swings the price $6,500, so I need your read before I lock hardware.

    Is CP-301 a Type A or Type B panel?

Addendum 2 revises CP-301 to NEMA 4X stainless but the schedule on page 3 still references the Type A detail from the original spec. The pricing difference is $6,500. I read the addendum as implying Type B (integrated UPS + purge) but confidence is below threshold.
